This large site for the Australian audio, lighting and staging specialists Jands was fully designed and coded by Universal Head. In addition we worked with an in-house Jands programmer to link the site to their database news system.

The challenge was to organise a large amount of content and product information into an easily navigable site. Our first major decision was to create a clear division between the three areas that Jands specialises in—audio, lighting and staging—and establish a clear hierarchy of information within these areas. Sub sections divided into the product manufacturers make it easy to find what the user is looking for.

The site was coded by hand in standards-compliant XHMTL and CSS which results in as fast and code-efficient a site as possible.
