This small UK record label had just had a surprise hit with Panjabi MC’s Mundian to Bach Ke and needed an hip, exciting website fast. Universal Head came to the rescue with a small Flash-driven site that featured Dharma’s four top acts, even creating a stylish logo for the company to boot. The site uses ephemera from a 1998 Universal Head trip to India to give it a distinctive look.
Though entirely Flash, the site is still fast to load and still manages to strike a balance between atmospheric, detailed graphics and a contemporary feel—just what the client ordered.
