Australia Post commissioned these illustrations for a series of three nationally distributed Christmas stamps based on the carol ‘I saw three ships...’ The brief specified a richly coloured, Renaissance painting style of illustration in keeping with the Christmas theme.
The stamps were voted a favourite by subscribers to the Australia Post magazine.
